Dan Rice
CPA & Owner
Dan has more than 34 years of public accounting experience with expertise in the areas of individual and business taxation, business consulting and tax planning. He has very broad experiences that enable him to take care of his clients whether their needs are simple or complex. ​Outside of the office, you can find Dan on the golf course!
John Clausen
CPA, Retired
John brings more than 42 years of public accounting experience and continues to support our team during tax season.
Amber Mason
CPA
Amber brings more than 22 years of public accounting experience, providing strategic tax and financial reporting services to businesses and individuals. Known for her client-first approach, she builds trusted relationships by listening closely and delivering practical, personalized solutions. Outside the office, Amber treasures time with her family, often logging many miles cheering them on in their various activities.
Kristy Hight
CPA
Kristi has over 37 years of experience in the financial industry, including public accounting (specializing in tax), trust administration, investment management, estate planning, and commercial lending. ​In her free time, Kristy and her husband Todd enjoy golfing, playing billiards, gardening, camping, and spending time with their six children and five grandchildren. She and Todd enjoy attending as many of their sporting events as possible.
Karla Kuiper
Office Administrator/Bookkeeper
Karla has 30 plus years in the accounting profession assisting clients with payroll and sales tax returns, individual tax service and monthly bookkeeping. Karla enjoys the various roles she plays in working with clients and their financial matters. Her goal is to make sure that each client receives excellent service. ​Karla finds her greatest enjoyment in spending time with her family: golfing with her husband Doug, thrifting excursions along with greenhouse trips with her daughters, and enjoying her three grandsons, Owen, Oliver, and Mason, who are her pride and joy.
Tammy Cruse
Accountant
Tammy has over 30 years experience in the accounting profession focusing on payroll, tax returns and monthly bookkeeping. She is a dedicated professional who brings expertise and attention to detail to every client and project. Out of the office, you can find Tammy spending time with family and friends, along with her Irish Doodle, and watching the Minnesota Loons soccer team!
Margaret Malm
Recptionist/Bookkeeper
Margaret has over 15 years of office management and over10 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
She brings a unique blend of efficiency and enthusiasm to the team. With a passion for organization and a knack for multitasking, Margaret is the backbone of our office operations. Outside the office, she’s passionate about time with her family, who mean everything to her. She brings that same care and commitment to her work every day.
Sydney Theobald
Accountant
Sydney graduated summa cum laude from Black Hills State University in 2024 where she obtained her BS in professional accountancy and marketing, while also competing full time in rodeo. With a strong foundation in accounting principles, a dedication to continuous learning, and an agriculture background, she brings a reliable, client-focused approach to helping businesses. Sydney remains active in the ag industry and rodeo competition.
Kaden Hight
Accountant
Kaden is currently pursuing a degree in Accounting through DSU, and getting hands-on experience supporting bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting for small businesses at Rice & Associates. In his spare time, Kaden enjoys staying active in the community, including coaching boy's tennis for the past 5 years, as well as golfing, working on house projects, and spending time with friends and family.
